Clear Creek Amana built a 10-point halftime lead and held on for a 55-51 win over Vinton-Shellsburg in a WAMAC Conference cross-divisional matchup in Tiffin on Tuesday.
Tyler Schrepfer had 15 points, five rebounds and four steals as Clear Creek Amana improved to 7-3 on the season and 6-3 in WAMAC play.
TJ Bollers had 12 points and eight rebounds and Christian Withrow added eight points for the Clippers.
Nolan Haisman 23 led Vinton-Shellsburg (4-5) with a game-high 23 points.

City High Comes Up Short at Western Dubuque
A fourth-quarter rally came up short for City High in a 47-44 loss to Western Dubuque on Tuesday in Epworth.
City High dropped to 2-7 with the loss and 0-7 in Mississippi Valley Conference play while Western Dubuque improved to 3-7 and 2-5 with its second win in three games.
Antonio Turner and Ry Threlkeld-Wiegand each had 11 points to pace City High while Liam McComas added five points.
Sam Goodman had a game-high 16 points to lead Western Dubuque.
