Softball Roundup: Bracken Leads Regina to Road Win at North Cedar

Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina improved to 4-1 in River Valley Conference play with a 6-3 win over North Cedar in an RVC cross-divisional matchup in Lowden.
Katie Bracken had two hits and picked up the win in the circle as Regina improved to 7-5 on the season.
North Cedar dropped to 1-8 on the year and 0-7 in RVC play with its fifth consecutive loss.
Carrigan O’Conner went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI to lead Regina while Lauren Marth had a double and an RBI.
Elly Gahan had a hit and drove in a run and Jess Hunter and Emma Sueppel each scored runs for the Regals.
Bracken earned the win allowing three runs on six hits while striking out eight and walking one.
