Regina had to wait an extra day to start regional play but Sarah Lehman and the Regals looked postseason ready on Thursday.

Lehman struck out 13 in a no-hitter as Class 2A eighth-ranked Regina downed West Branch 6-0 in the Class 2A Region 4 quarterfinals in Iowa City.

Regina improved to 25-11 on the season with the win and will host Wilton (20-17) in the Region 4 semifinals on Friday while West Branch closed the season 15-24.

Emily Bonnett went 3-for-4 with a run to lead Regina while Lehman and Emma Corkery each had two hits.

Jess Hunter had a hit and scored two runs while Katie Bracken had a hit and drove in three runs for Regina.

That was enough for Lehman who walked one and hit three batters in the no-hitter.
