A loss to fourth-ranked Cascade last week has proven to be just a bump in the road for the Regina.

Regina won its second straight game since its loss to the Cougars picking up a 65-46 win over North Cedar in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Clarence.

Sam Stein had 11 points and Jake Phillips had 10 points as Regina won for the seventh time in its last eight games.

Zach Seaman chipped in with eight points, three assists and three steals as Regina improved to 9-4 on the season and 8-3 in RVC play.

North Cedar dropped to 4-9 on the year and 4-8 in RVC games.

Ryne Schooley had seven points and 10 rebounds for Regina and freshman Even Brauns had six points and seven rebounds for the Regals.

Jocoa Kerschen chipped in with nine points and three assists.

Solon Snaps Losing Skid With Win at Western Dubuque

Solon snapped a three-game losing streak with a 46-35 win over Western Dubuque on Friday in a WAMAC East Division contest in Epworth.

Sterling McIlravy had a team-high 11 points as Solon improved to 7-4 on the season and 5-3 in WAMAC East Division games.

Freshman AJ Coons had 10 points while Ben Krutzfeldt and Luke Ira each had seven for the Spartans.

Western Dubuque dropped to 5-7 on the season and 2-5 in WAMAC West Division games.
