West High and Liberty High each held their spots in the most recent Class 5A volleyball rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Association.

West High (13-4) remained sixth in the Class 5A rankings while Liberty High (16-4) stayed at seventh in 5A.

City High (14-4) dropped one spot from 14th to 15th in Class 5A.

Clear Creek Amana (15-4) dropped two spots to fourth in the Class 4A rankings.

The Clippers trail top-ranked Davenport Assumption, second-ranked Norwalk and Western Dubuque in the 4A rankings.

Solon (24-4) dropped one spot to fourth in the Class 3A rankings and Regina (11-10) dropped three spots to No. 11 in Class 2A

Other top-ranked teams in the third rankings of the season were Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Western Christian in Class 3A, Hinton in Class 2A and Ankeny Christian in Class 1A.
