Liberty High climbed three spots in the most recent volleyball rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Liberty High (15-4)  jumped three spots from 10th to a season-high seventh in the Class 5A rankings this week.

West High (12-4) moved up one spot to sixth in the 5A rankings while City High (10-3) held its spot at No. 14 in 5A.

Clear Creek Amana (15-3) remained second in the Class 4A rankings trailing only newly top-ranked Davenport Assumption in Class 4A.

Solon (18-3) remained third in the Class 3A rankings trailing only top-ranked Humboldt and second-ranked Western Christian.

Regina (11-9) remained eighth in the Class 2A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams in the third rankings of the season were Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Union in Class 2A and Ankeny Christian in Class 1A.
