Clear Creek Amana, Solon, City High and Regina all moved up in the most recent volleyball rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Clear Creek Amana (11-1) was the biggest area climber in the third rankings of the season moving up to second in the Class 4A rankings.

The Clippers trail only top-ranked Norwalk in the 4A rankings.

Solon (13-1) moved up one spot to third in the Class 3A rankings trailing only top-ranked Humboldt and second-ranked Western Christian.

City High and Regina each moved up one spot.

Regina (10-4) moved up to eighth in the Class 2A rankings while City High (9-3) moved up to No. 14 in Class 5A.

Liberty High (10-3) remained 10th in Class 5A while West High (5-2) dropped two spots to No. 7 in 5A.

Other top-ranked teams in the third rankings of the season were Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Union in Class 2A and Ankeny Christian in Class 1A.
