Class 5A No. 10 Liberty High remained unbeaten in Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division play with a 25-10, 25-14, 25-21 win over Waterloo United on Tuesday in Waterloo.

Liberty High improved to 10-3 on the season and 3-0 in MVC matches while Waterloo United dropped to 1-13 and 0-3.

Ellie Wilson had 15 kills and three ace serves to lead Liberty High while Sydney Van Heukelom had nine kills and three blocks for the Lightning.

Hadley Miller had six kills, 17 assists and Brooklyn Wheeler added five kills while Hailey Hegland had four blocks for Liberty High.

Ava Meidlinger had three kills, Norah Willey had 14 assists and Edie Miller had a team-high 13 digs in the win.

Ava Jones had a team-high 10 kills for Waterloo United.
