One of the best setters in the state made a decision on her volleyball future on Sunday.

Liberty High senior setter Hadley Miller announced her commitment to Morningside University with a post on social media.

“I am beyond excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Morningside University,” Miller wrote on Instagram.

Miller is entering her fourth season as a starter and is coming off the best season of her impressive prep career.

The 5-foot-5 Miller ranked fifth in Class 5A in assists last season while helping Liberty High to a 24-11 record and a spot in a regional title game.

Along with handing out a career-high 758 assists a year ago Miller also had career-highs in kills (133), hitting percentage (.262), digs (306), blocks (25) and ace serves (37).

Miller was a Mississippi Valley Conference all-division second team pick for the third consecutive season last fall.

The 5-foot-6 Miller has led Liberty High in assists each of the past three seasons while racking up 1,637 career assists.

Among the most versatile players in the state Miller has also racked up 769 career digs, 320 career kills, 103 ace serves and 49 blocks.

A member of the NAIA and the Great Plains Athletic Conference, Morningside was 14-14 last season.
