Solon kept its season alive with a third-place finish at the Class 3A sectional meet on Wednesday at Stone Creek Golf Course in Williamsburg on Friday.

The Spartans shot a 321 to edge ADM by a single stroke for the final spot at the 3A district meet on Monday at Gardner Golf Course in Cedar Rapids.

Marion won the team title with a 303 while host Williamsburg was runner-up with a 320.

Clear Creek Amana placed seventh with a 336.

Ryder Laing shot a three-over par 74 to finish third overall while Kobe Ridout fired a 79 to finish in 11^th place.

Owen Heesch shot an 82 and Tyler Greazel shot an 86 for Solon.

Clear Creek Amana was led by Elijah Rath who shot an 80 to finish 14^th while teammate Myles Howell shot an 81 to finish 15^th.
