Girls Basketball Roundup: Solon Gets Back on Track With Win Over No. 13 Center Point-Urbana

Class 4A ninth-ranked Solon got back on track with a 53-44 win over 3A No. 14 Center Point-Urbana on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division contest in Solon.
Solon improved to 10-5 with the win and completed the season sweep of Center Point-Urbana after downing the Stormin’ Pointers 53-43 on December 19 in Center Point.
Center Point-Urbana had a two-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 9-7 with the loss.
Tenley Levin led Solon with 24 points and Delainey Durr added 13 points for the Spartans.
Jerzey Haluska had 10 points for Solon.
Adelyn Stien had 15 points and Grace Estling had 13 points to lead Center Point-Urbana and Deni Katcher had eight points for the Stormin’ Pointers.
