Girls Basketball Roundup: Eighth-ranked City High Downs Waterloo West For Fifth Consecutive Win

Class 5A eighth-ranked City High extended its winning streak to five with a 47-42 win over Waterloo West on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest at Little Hawk Arena in Iowa City.
City High improved to 14-3 on the season with its fourth consecutive single digit victory while Waterloo West dropped to 8-8.
Maybes Miller had a career-high 15 points on five 3-pointers to lead City High while Kaitlin Loria added 13 points for the Little Hawks.
Eve Vitense, Thisbe Lewis and Tessa Driscoll all have five points for City High.
Nakia Ollivierre had a game-high 25 points to lead Waterloo West and Allyson Landers had nine points and Agum Matit had eight points for the WaHawks.
