Girls Basketball Roundup: Ninth-ranked Solon Gets Back on Track With Win at No. 15 Independence

Class 4A ninth-ranked Solon bounced back from a Monday loss to 3A top-ranked Maquoketa with a 69-48 win over 4A No. 15 Independence on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division tilt in Independence.
Solon improved to 9-4 on the season with the win while Independence dropped to 10-4.
Tenley Levin poured in a game-high 30 points to lead Solon while Delainey Durr added 12 points for the Spartans.
Jerzey Haluska had 10 points and Laney Johnson had nine for Solon while Ellie Durr added five.
Libby Preuss had 12 points and Devin Ludwig had 11 for Independence.
