Regina Senior Naeve Headlines Area Players Named to River Valley Conference South Division Volleyball Team

Regina and West Branch both open the volleyball postseason on Wednesday.
Before the postseason gets underway both teams had players recognized for their work during the regular season.
West Branch and Regina each had players named to the River Valley Conference South Division volleyball teams when the league announced its postseason honors on Wednesday.
Regina senior Reese Naeve was named South Division co-player of the year to highlight a list of five Regals that earned all-South Division honors.
A unanimous first-team all-South Division pick, Naeve leads the state with 619 kills on .333 hitting and has 442 digs, 36 blocks and 32 ace serves this season helping Regina to a 27-13 record including a 5-2 mark in RVC South Division play.
Junior Addison Bollier joined Naeve on the South Division first team.
Bollier has a state-leading 699 digs this season from her libero spot and is averaging 6.8 digs per set while adding 23 ace serves.
Juniors Nora Wilhelm and Adalee Klein were each named to the South Division second team.
Wilhelm ranks fourth in the state with 891 assists and has 33 aces, 180 digs and 22 kills this season.
Klein ranks fourth on the team with 103 kills on .201 hitting and leads Regina with 63 blocks.
Senior Ruby Greving was an honorable mention selection in the South Division for Regina.
West Branch had three players earn all-South Division honors led by senior Dani Crutchley who was named to the South Division first team.
Crutchley had a team-high 519 digs and led the Bears with 32 ace serves on her way to earning first-team honors.
Senior Briley Kaalberg was named to the South Division second team after leading the Bears with 216 kills on .338 hitting and post a team-high 105 blocks.
Senior Kennedy Simpson was an honorable mention pick.
