Kayla Young
Solon graduate and current Northern Iowa sophomore Kayla Young helped the Panthers to a sixth-place team finish at the Dan Huston Invite at Wartburg College in Waverly on Saturday.
Young finished 39th overall in the six-kilometer race in a time of 24:33 helping Northern Iowa to a fifth-place team finish with 122 points.
Jack Kinzer
Liberty High graduate and current Wartburg senior Jack Kinzer posted a top-10 individual finish to help the Knights claim the team title at their own Dan Huston/Steve Johnson Invitational on Saturday in Waverly.
Kinzer finished ninth overall in a time of 25:06.8 as seven Knights finished in the top 10.
The ninth-place finish from Kinzer helped second-ranked Wartburg win the team title with 23 points.
Rowan Boulter
City High graduate and current Iowa senior set a new personal best time on Saturday while helping the Hawkeyes to a 13th place finish at the Joe Piane Invite in South Bend, Indiana.
Boulter finished 153rd overall in the race and set a nearly-two minute personal best with a time of 18:22.5 in the 5,000-meter race.
Iowa finished 13th with 363 points in the 20-team race.
