Clear Creek Amana Tops Class 4A IGHSAU Preseason Volleyball Rankings

Clear Creek Amana will open the season the top ranked team in Class 4A.
Coming off a 37-8 season that was capped with a third consecutive state tournament appearance Clear Creek Amana was No. 1 in the Class 4A preseason rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
Clear Creek Amana is followed in the preseason 4A rankings by second-ranked Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Pella, North Scott and Norwalk.

A state tournament qualifier last season, Regina opens the season fourth in the Class 2A rankings after finishing 24-15 a season ago.
West High (13-18) is ranked eighth in the Class 5A rankings while City High (17-13) is 11th in 5A and Liberty High is No. 12.
Other top-ranked teams to open the season are Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Western Christian in Class 3A, Denver in Class 2A and Fort Madison Holy Trinity in Class 1A.
The volleyball season opens with the first day of competition on Monday.
