Clear Creek Amana Has Seven Players Earn WAMAC All-Division Honors

Clear Creek Amana had a strong season end one win shy of a spot at the state tournament.
A day later the Clippers began to reap the rewards of their season-long success.
Clear Creek Amana had seven players earn WAMAC Conference all-division honors when the league announced it postseason awards on Thursday.
Seniors Reece Cochran, Ty Fuller and Kaden Phan were all unanimous WAMAC West Division first team picks to highlight the list of seven Clippers to earn all-division honors.
Maclane Morgan and Trace Robertson were each named to the West Division second team while sophomore Luke Young and senior Robert Meade earned honorable mention honors.
Cochran was a unanimous first team pick as a pitcher after posting a 5-3 record and 2.93 ERA while striking out 59 in a team-high 45 1/3 innings.
Cochran also batted .434 with 14 extra-base hits, three home runs, 32 runs and 33 RBI.
Fuller was a unanimous first-team West Division pick as an infielder after leading the Clippers with a .460 batting average and 51 runs scored.
The senior shortstop had 15 extra-base hits and drove in 17 runs from his leadoff spot while posting a team-high .566 on-base percentage.
Ty Fuller unanimous first INF
Phan earned unanimous first team West Division honors as an outfielder after hitting .343 with 11 extra-base hits, 32 runs and 26 RBI.
Morgan was a second team pick as an infielder after the senior second baseman batted .374 with 21 extra-base hits including three home runs and 34 RBI.
Robertson was named to the West Division second team as an outfielder after batting .337 with four doubles, 18 runs scored and 23 RBI.
Solon had five players earned all-division honors in the East Division highlighted by freshman Tate Miller and Luke Merrick and sophomore Maddox Kelley which were all second team selections.
Senior Nolan Seagren and junior Carson Kidwell earned honorable mention East Division honors for Solon.
Kelley was a second team East Division pick as an infielder after hitting .411 with 13 extra-base hits, 38 runs and 22 RBI.
Miller earned second team honors as a pitcher after posting a 7-0 record and .46 ERA while striking out 31 in a team-high 45 2/3 innings.
Merrick was a second team pick as an outfielder following a freshman season in which he batted .311 with 12 extra-base hits and 21 RBI.
