The 2025 season was another exception season for girls soccer teams in the Your Prep Sports area.
Liberty High set a program record with 14 wins and advanced to a Class 3A regional title game in its first season in the state’s biggest class.
Solon rattled off a six-match winning streak in May and advanced to a Class 1A regional final with consecutive road wins at Maquoketa and Regina.
The annual Your Prep Sports all-area soccer team is a way to honor some of the top individuals in the area that helped their team’s achieve success.
The 2025 edition of the Your Prep Sports girls soccer team features all-conference and all-state performers from all seven area schools.
Liberty High senior Rilyn Breinholt is the captain of the 2025 Your Prep Sports all-area team.
Breinholt ranked fourth in Class 3A with 29 goals while helping the Lightning to a 14-2-2 record.
A four-year starter, Breinholt closed a brilliant career with 70 goals, 37 assists and 177 points.

Rilyn Breinholt
Senior, Liberty High (Captain)
A four-year starter, Breinholt helped Liberty High increase its win total from the previous season each of her final three years in the lineup.
Breinholt posted the best season of her career as a senior leading Liberty High and ranking fourth in Class 3A with 29 goals.
A University of Wisconsin-Parkside recruit, Breinholt scored double figure goals in each of her four varsity seasons and had double figures in assists three times.
Breinholt had a career-high 11 assists this season while posting a career-best 69 points to help the Lightning to a 14-2-2 record.
A first-team Mississippi Valley Conference all-Mississippi Division pick and honorable mention all-state selection by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association, Breinholt closes her prep career with 177 points, 70 goals and 37 assists.
Paz Martinez
Senior, West High
A stalwart in the West High lineup the past four seasons Martinez had the best season of her career this spring as a senior while helping the Trojans to an 8-7-2 record.
Martinez posted career highs in goals and assists this season and finished her career with 9 goals and 12 assists in 60 career starts.
Martinez was a first-team MVC all-Mississippi Division selection and earned Class 3A all-state honors from both the IGCA and IHSSCA following a senior season in which she scored four goals and ranked fourth on the team with five assists.
Callie Stanley
Junior, Liberty High
One of the most dangerous offensive players in the state Stanley played a key role in helping Liberty High to a 3A regional title game appearance and a program-best 14 wins.
Stanley earned all-state status from both the Iowa Girls Coaches Association and IHSSCA after ranking second on the team with 42 points and 13 goals and leading Liberty High with 16 assists.
The 16 assists for Stanley were a career-high for the three-year starter and ranked third in Class 3A.
A first-team MVC all-Mississippi Division pick, Stanley has scored 38 goals and added 29 assists in her three varsity seasons.
Sofia Fuentes
Freshman, West High
Fuentes made a splash in her debut season leading West High in both goals and assists while establishing herself as one of the top young players in the state.
In her first season of varsity soccer Fuentes scored 16 goals and added seven assists, leading West High with 39 points.
Fuentes was a first-team MVC all-Mississippi Division selection and earned Class 3A honorable mention all-state status from the IHSSCA.
Evelynn Parlet
Junior, City High
In her second season in the City High lineup Parlet emerged as a dangerous offensive threat leading the Little Hawks in goals, assists and points.
Parlet scored 11 goals and added eight assists while leading City High with 30 points and helping the Little Hawks to a 6-9-3 record.
A first-team MVC all-Valley Division selection Parlet scored or assisted on better than 54 percent of the Little Hawk’s goal this season.
Ava Tague
Junior, Liberty High
In her second full season in goal Tague continued to build a reputation as one of the best goal keepers in the state.
Tague was named MVC Mississippi Division keeper of the year and was a first-team all-division selection following a stellar junior season in which she made a career-high 107 helps while helping the Lightning to a 14-2-2 record.
Tague posted seven shutouts and allowed just 17 goals in 18 matches while posting an 85.8 save percentage.
In two seasons as the full-time starter Tague has made 182 saves while allowing just 32 goals in 36 matches and posting 18 shutouts.
Silvie Hendricks
Senior, Solon
A key all-around player Hendricks was a key part of one of the best four-year stretches in recent Solon history.
Hendricks was at her best this season as a senior scoring four goals and adding an assist while helping Solon to an 11-7-2 record that included a trip to a Class 1A regional final.
An honorable mention Class 1A all-state selection by the IHSSCA, Hendricks scored 12 goals and added seven assists in four seasons in the Solon lineup.
Grace Hamann
Sophomore, West Branch
Hamann built on a strong freshman season with an even better sophomore campaign posting a career-high in goals while helping West Branch increase its win total from a year ago.
A first-team all-River Valley Conference selection, Hamann scored a career-high 22 goals and added two assists in 12 matches to help the Bears to a 6-7-1 record.
Hamann scored three or more goals five times this season including a single-match school record seven goals in a win over Wapello.
Morgan Miller
Senior, Regina
A Truman State basketball recruit, Miller excelled in her only season of high school soccer leading Regina in goals, assists and points.
Miller had a team-high 15 goals and added five assists while helping the Regals to an 11-5-3 record that included a spot in the Class 1A regional semifinals.
A first-team all-River Valley Conference selection, Miller directly accounted for more than 51 percent of Regina’s scoring this season with a goal or an assist.
Alannah McKibben
Senior, Clear Creek Amana
A stalwart in goal for the past four seasons McKibben capped an impressive career with her best season.
After taking over as the starting keeper as a freshman McKibben raised her save percentage in each of the past three seasons, posting a career-best 83.8 save percentage this spring.
McKibben made a career-high 202 saves this season while allowing 39 goals and helping the Clippers post five shutouts on her way to earning first-team all-WAMAC West Division honors.
A Luther College commit, McKibben closes her career with 500 career saves in 60 career starts.
Rose McAtee
Senior, Solon
A four-year starter, McAtee produced the best season of her career as a senior while helping lead a late-season winning streak that sent Solon to a Class 1A regional title game.
McAtee scored a career-high 19 goals this season adding three assists to help Solon to a 11-7-2 record that including a six-match winning streak in May.
A stalwart in the lineup since her freshman season McAtee scored at least nine goals each of the past four seasons and finished her career with 53 goals and six assists in 67 career starts.
Allie Hunter
Sophomore, Liberty High
Hunter made an immediate impact last season as a freshman starting 18 matches on Liberty High’s first ever state tournament squad.
This season Hunter took her game to another level earning MVC first team all-Mississippi Division honors.
A critical piece of a stout Liberty High defensive that allowed less than a goal per match this season Hunter also showed an ability to make plays all over the field, posting a pair of goals while helping the Lightning to a 14-2-2 record.
Kendyl Malli
Junior, Clear Creek Amana
Already a three-year starter Malli continued to increase her production in what was the best season of her career.
Malli ranked second on the team with seven goals and added two assist while helping Clear Creek Amana to a 6-10-1 record.
A first team all-WAMAC West Division selection, Malli has scored 16 goals and posted nine assists over the past three seasons while helping the Clippers to 21 wins during that span.
Delilah Espinoza-Kroona
Freshman, Liberty High
In her first varsity season Espinoza-Kroona found a role in the midfield for Liberty High and proved to be a key component of one of the most successful seasons in program history.
Espinoza-Kroona earned MVC all-Mississippi Division second team honors as a freshman after starting 16 matches as a freshman.
Espinoza-Kroona showed a knack for making plays across the field and had an assist from her midfield spot.
Anna Goska
Junior, West High
After scoring four goals and adding five assists in her first two varsity seasons Goska had a breakthrough season as a junior ranking in the top five on the team in goals, assists and points.
Goska ranked second on the team in both goals (12 goals) and points (27) during her breakthrough season that also featured three assists.
A second-team MVC all-Mississippi Division pick, Goska helped West High to an 8-7-2 record that included a spot in a 3A regional semifinal.
Addi Greene
Senior, Solon
Another four-year starter in the Solon lineup Greene played her best soccer late in the season helping the Spartans in a post-season surge.
Greene scored four goals in four postseason matches as Solon advanced to the Class 1A regional finals.
After scoring a career-high 12 goals last season, Greene upped her production in her final season ranking second on the team with 14 goals while adding three assists.
Greene closed her career with 32 goals and five assists helping Solon win 45 matches over the past four seasons.
Taylor Bartee
Senior, City High
Bartee emerged as an key leader and important piece of the Little Hawk back line in her first season as a full-time starter.
A first team MVC all-Valley Division selection, Bartee played a key defensive role while helping the Little Hawks to a 6-9-3 record that included five shutouts.
Bartee started 26 matches over the final two seasons and had an assist to her credit during her impressive senior season.
Ava Wiltgen
Senior, Regina
Wiltgen made an immediate impact in her first season in the Regina lineup helping the Regals to a 11-5-3 record and a spot in the 1A regional semifinals.
A first-team all-River Valley Conference selection Wiltgen had a goal and an assist for the Regals and did some of her best work on the defensive end.
Wiltgen helped the Regals allow one or fewer goals in 13 of 19 matches this season including eight shutouts.
Holley Schulte
Sophomore, Clear Creek Amana
Schulte got her feet wet at the varsity level a season ago seeing action in 12 matches with a single start but enjoyed a breakthrough sophomore season in which she led the Clippers in scoring.
Schulte was a first-team all-WAMAC West Division pick after scoring a team-high eight goals this season while helping the Clippers to a 6-10-1 record.
Sofia Ortega
Junior, Solon
Ortega continued to emerge as one of the most impressive players in the WAMAC Conference this season posting career highs in goals and assists in a breakthrough junior season.
A three-year starter, Ortega ranked third on the team with 12 goals and led Solon with 15 assists while helping the Spartans to an 11-7-2 record.
Ortega has scored 21 goals and added 18 assists in three varsity seasons.
