City High, Liberty High and Regina Appear in First IHSAA Boys Soccer Rankings Of the Season

Three area teams appeared in the first edition of the Iowa High School Athletic Association boys soccer rankings with City High, Liberty High and Regina all earning spots in the initial rankings released on Monday.
City High (3-0-1) is ranked 10th in the initial Class 4A rankings after winning three consecutive games following a tie in its season opener.
Liberty High (4-3) is fourth in the Class 3A rankings while Regina (5-0-1) is third in the first Class 1A rankings.
Top-ranked teams in the initial rankings are West Des Moines Valley is Class 4A, Des Moines Hoover in Class 3A, Sioux City Heelan in Class 2A and North Fayette Valley in Class 1A.
