Clear Creek Amana Linebacker Robertson Commits to Wartburg

The top tackler for Clear Creek Amana last season has made a decision on his football future.
Clear Creek Amana senior linebacker Trace Robertson announced his commitment to NCAA Division III powerhouse Wartburg on Thursday with a post on social media.
“Thanks to all my family, coaches and friends,” Robertson wrote in a message on X.
Robertson led Clear Creek Amana in total tackles, solo stops, tackles for loss and sacks this season while helping the Clippers to a 6-4 record and a spot in the Class 4A playoffs.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Robertson had 43 solo tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks among his team-leading 63 tackles this season.
He also returned a blocked punt 36 yards for a touchdown.
Robertson ranked third on the team with 42.5 tackles including five tackles for loss and had an interception as a junior in 2023.
A multi-sport standout at Clear Creek Amana Robertson hit .339 with two home runs and 25 RBI for the Clipper baseball team last summer.
Robertson has gone 29-19 at 150 pounds for the Clear Creek Amana wrestling team this season finishing fifth at the WAMAC tournament earlier this month.
Wartburg went 10-2 and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Division III tournament last fall.
