Masen Miller
Former Regina all-stater and current North Dakota senior guard Masen Miller surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his collegiate career on Thursday in a win over Kansas City.
Miller opened the scoring for the Bison with a 3-pointer on Thursday that pushed him over the 1,000-point mark for his collegiate career.
The 6-foot-2 Miller scored 670 points in two seasons at Truman State and added 85 points in two seasons at Indiana State.
Miller had nine points in the win over Kansas City on Thursday and had 14 points, three assists and two rebounds in a loss at Omaha on Saturday.
On the season Miller is averaging 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game and ranks 19th in Division 9 in 3-point percentage at 43.8 percent while helping the Bison to a 17-9 record.
Carey Koenig
City High graduate and current Drake senior infielder Carey Koenig went 5-for-9 in a pair of games against North Dakota and Omaha on Saturday at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
Koenig went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in a 7-1 loss to Omaha and went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in a 9-7 loss to North Dakota.
In four games this season Koenig is batting .375 with two triples, an RBI and four runs scored helping the Bulldogs to a 1-4 mark to open the season.
Reese Stockman
Clear Creek Amana graduate and current Kirkwood Community College freshman infielder Reese Stockman had hits in three games as the Eagles went 2-2 in a pair of doubleheaders in Mississippi Over the weekend.
Stockman was 2-for-4 with two walks and two RBI on Friday as Kirkwood split a doubleheader at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
On Saturday Stockman had a hit and scored two runs as Kirkwood split with Meridian Community College.
