West High had to wait a week for an opportunity to get back in the win column following a loss to cross-town rival Liberty High last week.

The Trojans got back on track in a big way on Tuesday.

Class 5A No. 12 had four players score in double figures and rolled to a 71-37 win over Dubuque Senior in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in Iowa City.

West High improved to 9-4 with the win while Dubuque Senior dropped to 3-9 with the loss.

Abby Neumiller led four West High players in double figures with 17 points while Grace Fincham had 13 points, six rebounds and two assists.

Sasha Baldwin had 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals and Ava Frese had 10 points, four assists and four steals.

Kate Van Waning had seven points, seven rebounds and five assists and Elle Barnett had four assists as the Trojans had 22 assists on 27 made field goals.
