Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 7-5 with the loss.
Andrew Rotzoll made four 3-pointers and poured in 28 points to lead Clear Creek Amana.
Hayden Umoren had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds and added five assists.
Brody Clubb had 11 points, six rebounds and two assists and Robert Meade had eight points for the Clippers.
