Center Point-Urbana downed Solon 54-51 on Friday in a WAMAC Conference East Division contest in Center Point.

The loss was the second in a row for Solon and dropped the Spartans to 3-3 on the season while Center Point-Urbana improved to 5-1 with its fifth consecutive win.

Grant Gordon led three Solon players in double figures with 12 points while Maddox Kelley and Caleb Bock each had 10 for the Spartans.

Isaiah Zoske had nine points for Solon.

Cayle Estling had 12 points to lead Center Point-Urbana and Cooper Grimm had eight for the Stormin’ Pointers.
