Solon fell to Mount Vernon 54-40 on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division contest in Mount Vernon.

The Spartans dropped to 3-2 on the season with the loss while Mount Vernon improved to 5-0.

Caleb Bock led Solon with 12 points while Isaiah Zoske had seven points and Maddox Kelley had five for the Spartans.

Josef Briesemeister had a game-high 24 points to lead Mount Vernon and Kellen Haverback added 18 points for the Mustangs.
