City High Senior Hull Commits to North Texas

One of the top hitters in the state has settled on a future home.
City High senior infielder Lianna Hull announced her commitment to North Texas on Thursday with a post on social media.
“I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of North Texas,” Hull wrote on X. “Thank you (North Texas) coaches and staff for this opportunity.”
Hull posted a fourth consecutive season with a batter average over .450 last summer ranking eighth in Class 5A with a .489 batting average.
A career .499 hitter, Hull led City High with 30 runs scored and had 14 extra-base hits including two home runs as a junior.
Hull drove in 12 runs and posted a .545 batting average and .716 slugging percentage last season.
Already a four-year starter, Hull has already collected 228 career hits, including 25 extra-base hits, scored 169 runs, driven in 62 runs and stolen 79 bases.
