Solon Graduate Wilson Commits to Bradley Softball

Former Solon standout Hilary Wilson announced plans for her softball future after a stellar season at Des Moines Area Community College last spring.
Wilson announced her commitment to Bradley University with a post on social media.
“I’m excited to announce that I will be continuing both my academic and softball career at Bradley University,” Wilson wrote on X. “I want to extend a huge thank you to the DMACC staff for their unwavering support and guidance over the last year.”
A five-year starter and all-state selection at Solon, Wilson was impressive in her debut season at DMACC last spring.
Wilson hit .482 with 30 extra-base hits including 11 home runs and drove in 53 runs in her first season at DMACC.
A first-team all-region selection for the Bears, Wilson scored 39 runs and posted a .510 on-base percentage and .871 slugging percentage as a freshman.
A member of the Missouri Valley Conference, Bradley went 29-27 last season.
