Brendan Mott
West High graduate and current Kansas State senior defensive end Brendan Mott continued a strong season with another big game against Oklahoma State.
Mott had three tackles with a tackle for a loss in a 42-20 win over the Cowboys on Saturday in Manhattan, Kansas.
The 6-foot-5, 244-pound Mott current leads Kansas State in sacks, tackles for loss and quarterback hurries while helping the Wildcats to a 4-1 record.
Mott has 15 tackles including 10 solo stops, 5.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and four quarterback hurries.
Andy Henson
Former West Branch standout and current Sioux Falls freshman linebacker Andy Henson led the Cougars in tackles on Saturday in a 26-22 loss to Minot State.
Henson had a team-high 13 tackles including 1.5 for loss on Saturday in Sioux Falls.
The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Henson has helped the Cougars to a 3-2 record and leads the team with 37 tackles through five games including a team best 28 solo stops and 4.5 tackles for loss.
Henson also has a sack a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Lilah Van Scoyoc
Liberty High graduate and current St. Olaf sophomore Lilah Van Scoyoc had a big game in a four-set win over Hamline on Saturday in Northfield, Minnesota.
Van Scoyoc had a team-high 21 kills on .367 hitting while adding 15 digs as St. Olaf improved to 11-4 on the season with the win.
On the season Van Scoyoc leads St. Olaf with 187 kills while hitting .218 and ranks third on the team with 159 digs and fourth on the team with 17 blocks.
