Four Your Prep Sports area volleyball teams moved up in the most recent rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

City High, Liberty High, Solon and Regina all moved up in the rankings released on Thursday while Clear Creek Amana dropped one spot.

Clear Creek Amana (17-4) is the highest ranked area team and dropped one spot to fourth in the Class 4A rankings released on Thursday.

All four of the other ranked area teams moved up this week.

City High (9-2) and Liberty High (7-10) both climbed two spots in the Class 5A rankings.

City High is ninth and Liberty High is 10th in the most recent 5A rankings.

Solon (13-6) moved up one spot to tenth in the Class 3A rankings while Regina (8-8) made the biggest climb for area teams this week jumping to No. 12 in the Class 2A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week are Ankeny Centennial in Class 5A, North Scott in Class 4A, Mount Vernon in Class 3A, Denver in Class 2A and Ankeny Christian in Class 1A.
