Boys Golf Roundup: MacLagan, Jensen-Fitzpatrick Lead West High at Home Invite

Jack MacLagan and Jack Jensen-Fitzpatrick each posted top-25 finishes to help lead West High to a sixth-place team finish at its home invitational on Monday at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside.
MacLagan shot a six-over-par 78 to finish in a tie for 14th place while Jensen-Fitzpatrick fired an 80 to place 23rd as West High shot a 330 as a team.
Pleasant Valley had four players shoot 75 or better led by individual medalist Andrew Tillman with a three-under-par 69 and won the team title with a 291 which was four strokes better than runner-up Johnston.
Dubuque Wahlert was third with a 297 followed by Central DeWitt with a 318 and Bettendorf with a 323.
Liberty High finished ninth with a 354.
Emery Crawford and Tate Genkinger each shot an 86 for West High while Isaac Wendt shot an 88 for the Trojans.
Liberty High was led by Brooks Andersen with an 87 while Regan Kopecky shot an 88 and Brody Heddens an 89 for the Lightning.
