City High and Liberty High each climbed in the latest baseball rankings released on Monday by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.

City High (21-4) has won eight in a row and moved up to fifth in the latest Class 4A rankings.

Liberty High (17-7) has won six of its last eight games and climbed to seventh in the 4A rankings.

Solon (15-7) is 10th in the latest Class 3A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week are Cedar Rapids Kennedy (23-2) in Class 4A, Marion (21-1) in Class 3A, West Marshall (23-1) in Class 2A and Akron-West Field (16-2) in Class 1A.
