Baseball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Sweeps West Delaware in WAMAC Doubleheader

Clear Creek Amana swept West Delaware in a WAMAC cross-divisional doubleheader on Monday in Tiffin winning the opener 7-0 and took the nightcap 3-2.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 7-5 with the sweep while West Delaware dropped to 1-10 on the season.
In the opener Kaden Phan struck out 11 in a one-hit shutout and also went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and five RBI.
Luke Young went 3-for-3 and scored two runs and Maclane Morgan went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
In the nightcap the Clippers scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to complete the sweep.
Young allowed two runs on five hits in six innings and Aren Schlemme worked a scoreless seventh inning to earn the win.
Robert Meade and Reece Cochrane were each 2-for-3 with a run scored and Trace Robertson had a hit and scored a run.
