Girls Golf Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Wins Regional Title to Secure First Trip to State Meet

The season went from good to historic for the Clear Creek Amana girls golf team on Wednesday.
Clear Creek Amana advanced to the state tournament for the first time in program history on Wednesday winning the Class 3A, Region 3 title by one stroke over Williamsburg.
Sophomore Brooklyn Lee shot a 77 to win the individual title and Meg Berkland was fourth with an 87 as the Clippers finished with a 362.
Williamsburg shot a 363 to finish runner-up and secure the second spot at the state meet.
Lexi Moran and Izzy Mooney each shot 99 for the Clippers which will compete in the 3A state meet May 23-24 at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls.
