Aidan and Keegan Decker each won an individual title as Liberty High automatically qualified five entries for the state meet at the Class 4A state qualifying meet on Thursday at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids.

Keegan Decker won the 3,200 in 9:22.81 and Aidan Decker won the 1,600 title in a time of 4:25.14 to highlight a strong day for the Lightning.

Brady Cannon and Carter Meyers each added runner-up finishes and the Lightning finished runner-up in the distance medley relay.

Cannon was runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 49-8 and Meyers was runner-up in the 400 in 49.8.

The Liberty High distance medley team of Burnes, Schweitzer, Sutton Koller and Aidan Decker was runner-up in 3:37.14.
