Bella Pettersen shot an even-par 32 to earn medalist honors and lead Liberty High to a first-place finish at a Mississippi Valley Conference quadrangular on Thursday at Airport National Golf Course in Cedar Rapids.

Pettersen finished 10 strokes in front of runner-up medalist Kylie Wachtl of Cedar Rapids Prairie as Liberty High finished with a 164.

Cedar Rapids Prairie was second with a 195 followed by West High and City High which both carded a 198.

Sydney Hested and Leona Rupp each shot 42 for Liberty High while Claire Franzwa shot 48 for the Lightning.

Haleigh Nelson fired a 43 to finish fifth for City High while teammate Olivia Neuzil shot a 47 to place sixth.

Gretchen Van Iddekinge shot a 49 to lead West High.
