Class 1A No. 13 West Branch fell to third-ranked Wilton in a regional dual title match on Tuesday in Wilton.

West Branch defeated Interstate 35 48-24 in the opening round before falling to the host Beavers 39-17 in the final.

The Bears won nine matches in the victory over Interstate 35 with West Branch posting five pins.

Lincoln Edwards on by fall at 120, Logan Christoffel had a first-period pin at 132, Keaton Gates won by fall at 150, Cale Seydel won by fall at 157 and Tate Frantz had a first-period pin at 190.

Ethan Humphrey won by forfeit at 106 and Logan Wright won by forfeit at 285 pounds while Cooper Gates on a 7-2 decision at 165 and Shae Farmer won a 4-2 decision at 175.

In the loss to Wilton Cooper Gates, Frantz, Quintyn Rocha and Wright all posted wins.

Wright won by fall at 285, Rocha won a 17-1 tech fall at 215 while Frant and Gates each won by decision.
