Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Stops Losing Skid With Win Over No. 15 West High

City High needed a win entering Friday’s rematch with cross-town rival West High.
The Little Hawks got exactly what they were looking for.
Kaitlin Loria had a game-high 16 points and Augie Palmer added 15 as City High snapped a seven-game losing skid with a 53-46 win over Class 5A No. 15 West High on Friday at City High.
City High improved to 4-10 on the season, avenged a 63-57 loss to the Trojans back on December 22 and halted a four-game losing skid to West High in the series between the two rivals.
Hattie Galloway had nine points, Tessa Driscoll had seven points and Maybes Miller added four in the City High win.
West High had a two-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 8-7 on the season.
Sasha Baldwin had 14 points and Grace Fincham added 10 for the Trojans.
Abby Neumiller and Aly Skala each had six points and Lucy Wolf had five for West High.
