City High fell to Class 3A seventh-ranked Dubuque Hempstead 45-32 on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in Iowa City.

City High won six matches on Thursday posting four pins and earning bonus points in five of the six wins.

Kael Kurtz (138), Jake Mitchell (144), Laith Alawneh (157) and Kael Voinovich (165) had pins for City High while Cale Seaton won a 25-9 tech fall at 132 pounds.

Gabe Egeland won a 5-4 decision at 150 pounds for the Little Hawks.
