Class 4A second-ranked Clear Creek Amana locked in on defense to pick up a rivalry win and stay unbeaten on Friday.
Clear Creek Amana didn’t allow more than nine points in a single quarter and got a game-high 22 points from sophomore Averi Lower in a 57-24 win over Class 3A No. 15 Williamsburg in a WAMAC Conference West Division contest in Williamsburg.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 12-0 with the win while Williamsburg dropped to 6-5.
Ava Locklear added 10 points and Bliss Beck and Kennedy Stratton each had nine for the Clippers.
Lena Evans added seven points for Clear Creek Amana.
Kennedy Skaggs had nine points and Carly Rich had seven for Williamsburg.
