Girls Basketball Roundup: Regina Remains Unbeaten in RVC South Play With Win Over Mid-Prairie

Class 2A fourth-ranked Regina remained undefeated in River Valley Conference South Division play and continued its winning streak with a 70-46 win over Mid-Prairie on Thursday in a RVC South Division contest in Iowa City.
The win was the fourth straight for Regina and improved the Regals to 11-2 on the season and 6-0 in RVC South Division play.
Mid-Prairie dropped to 5-6 on the season and 4-1 against RVC South Division competition.
Morgan Miller had a game-high 23 points to lead Regina and added six steals and five assists.
Alli Clark had 15 points, six assists, five steals and four rebounds and Caitlin Martin had 12 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Ella McLaughlin added 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals and Morgan Squiers had five points and two assists.
Regina shot 49 percent for the game and had 20 assists on 28 made field goals.
