West Branch opened the 2024 portion of its schedule with a 63-58 loss at Camanche on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference cross-division matchup in Camanche.
The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for West Branch and dropped the Bears to 6-4 on the season.
Camanche snapped a five-game losing skid with the win and improved to 2-6 on the season.
Holden Arnaman had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds and added four assists to lead West Branch.
Reese Trepanier had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebound to go with four assists and two steals.
Jayden Harris had 10 points, Trenton Schutte had six points and Brennen Dale had four assists for the Bears.
