Regina fell to Benton Community 57-55 on Thursday in a non-conference contest in Van Horn.

Regina led 29-27 at the half but couldn’t hang on falling to 0-2 on the season while Benton Community improved to 2-0.

Michael Martin led three Regina players in double figures with 16 points and six rebounds while Eddie Petersen had 10 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Andrew Greve had 10 points off the bench and Will Litton had nine points and five rebounds.

Tate Wallace had six points, four rebounds and four assists for the Regals while Drew Streb had four points and four rebounds.
