Softball Roundup: City High Stops Skid With Win at Cedar Falls

City High snapped an eight-game losing streak in a big way on Wednesday hammering 20 hits in an 11-3 win over Cedar Falls at Robinson-Dresser Sports Complex in Cedar Falls.
Nine different Little Hawks had a hit on Wednesday as City High improved to 7-21 on the season.
Cedar Falls dropped to 13-21 with the loss.
Lianna Hull went 4-for-5 and scored three runs to lead City High while Mackenzie Dvorsky was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run and drove in three runs and scored three times.
Molly Carlson was 3-for-4 with two RBI and Addyson McKillip had two hits including a double and drove in a run.
Lexi Ellermeier, Olivia Knoche, Ava Lindsey and Maeve Obermueller all had two hits and drove in a run for City High.
Ellermeier earned the win for the Little Hawks allowing three runs, one earned, on eight hits while striking out one and walking two.
