Softball Roundup: Top-ranked Regina Secures Share of RVC South Title With Win at Tipton

Class 2A top-ranked Regina secured at least a share of the River Valley Conference South Division title on Wednesday with a 13-0 three-inning win over Tipton in Tipton.
Sophomore Reese Litton and Jillian Panther combined for a no-hitter as Regina improved to 24-7 on the season and 14-3 in RVC play with the win and can secure an outright conference crown with a win over 3A No. 15 West Liberty on Thursday.
Litton struck out three and walked one in two no-hit innings and Panther fanned two in an inning for Regina.
Courtney Kessler went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and four RBI to lead Regina while Kennedy Conner had two hits and drove in four runs for the Regals.
Dani Laughlin had two hits and scored three runs while Ashley Webb doubled, scored a run and drove in a run.
Gabby Sueppel had a hit and scored a run, Morgan Gahan had a triple, drove in a run and scored a run and Laci Chambliss had a hit and drove in a run.
Tipton dropped to 0-20 with the loss.
