DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa City Regina opened up state tournament play Tuesday here at Cownie Soccer Park. The Regals advanced to Thursday’s Class 1A semifinals with a 2-1 victory against River Valley Conference foe, West Liberty.

Following Tuesday’s match, Regina spoke about the big win.
