Girls Basketball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Rolls Past Fort Madison in Regional Semifinal

Clear Creek Amana moved one win away from a return to the state tournament with a 62-28 win over Fort Madison on Saturday in a Class 4A, Region 7 semifinal in Tiffin.
Class 4A seventh-ranked Clear Creek Amana had three players in double figures on Saturday and improved to 17-4 on the season while advancing to the Region 7 title game.
Clear Creek Amana will host No. 10 North Scott (13-9) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Tiffin for a spot at the state tournament
North Scott defeated Keokuk 63-34 in a regional semifinal on Saturday.
Ava Locklear had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and added three assists and three blocked shots in the win.
Bliss Beck had 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists and Kaylee Stratton had 10 points, three rebounds and two steals.
Averie Lower had nine points and Olivia Miller had seven points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Davonna Davis and Camille Kruse each had 10 points for Fort Madison which finished the season 16-7.
