The focus for Class 2A fifth-ranked Regina is on its postseason future beginning with a regional semifinal on Friday and as the Regals seek a second consecutive state tournament appearance.
On Wednesday four Regals were rewarded for their regular season performance.
Regina had four players named to the River Valley Conference South Division all-conference team when the league released its postseason honors.
Sophomore Morgan Miller and junior Alli Clark were each unanimous first-team picks in the RVC South Division and senior guard Grace Gaarde was a second-team pick for Regina which went unbeaten in conference play on its way to the South Division title.
Miller enjoyed a breakthrough sophomore season leading Regina in points (17.3), rebounds (5) and steals (3) and ranking second on the team with 4.2 assists per game.
The 5-foot-6 Miller shot 53 percent from the floor including 43 percent from 3-point range while ranking in the top three among RVC South Division players in points, assists and steals.
Clark averaged 14.7 points per game to go with 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game while shooting a team-best 55 percent from the field.
Gaarde earned second-team honors after averaging 9.5 points and 4 rebounds per game and leading Regina with 4.3 assists per game.
Ella McLaughlin was an honorable mention pick for Regina.
West Branch junior Kylie Pickett was named to the second team while senior Sadie Smith was an honorable mention pick for the Bears.
Pickett led West Branch with 10.7 points and 2.9 steals per game and also averaged 4 rebounds and 1 assist per contest.
