Liberty High won its second straight game on Friday holding off Cedar Rapids Prairie 60-58 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in North Liberty.

Trey Hughes had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead Liberty High and Da’Shon Fisher had 20 points, six assists and five rebounds as Liberty High improved to 8-11 on the season.

Cedar Rapids Prairie dropped to 5-14 on the season with its seventh consecutive loss.

Luke Ramsey had three points and three assists and Jailyn Buchanan had three points, four assists and two rebounds for Liberty High.
