Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina opened the new year with a top-10 victory on Tuesday.

Regina pushed its winning streak to nine with a 76-60 win over Class 1A No. 10 Burlington Notre Dame in a non-conference contest in Burlington.

The win improved Regina to 11-1 on the season while Burlington Notre Dame dropped to 7-3.

Regina built a 13-point halftime lead on its way to its ninth straight victory, scoring more than 70 points for the fifth time this season.

Senior Grace Gaarde led four Regals in double figures with 20 points while Morgan Miller and Alli Clark each had 17 points.

Ella McLaughlin had 10 points and Dani Laughlin added eight for the Regals.
