Girls Basketball Roundup: West Branch Picks Up First Win With RVC South Victory Over Tipton

Five players scored at least eight points for West Branch as the Bears secured their first win of the season on Tuesday with a 55-35 win over Tipton in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup in West Branch.
West Branch outscored the Tigers 41-21 in the second and third quarters combined while improving to 1-7 on the season and 1-3 in RVC South Division play.
Tipton dropped to 3-7 with the loss.
Avery Schultes had 12 points and seven steals to lead West Branch while Kylie Pickett added 12 points, five rebounds two assists and two steals.
Alyse Klinkkammer had nine points and eight assists and Iva Senio had nine points, four rebounds and three assists.
Sadie Smith had eight points, three assists and three rebounds.
